Anyone can wager on who wins, but let's have fun and gamble on the length of the national anthem or the jersey number of the first touchdown

The Super Bowl is the biggest sports gambling day of the year, because you can bet on just about anything. If you want to keep it simple: The Rams are four-point favorites over the Bengals, so that's a bet you can make that everyone understands, but let's get weird. Let's bet on the coin toss. Sure, it's a literal coin flip and none of us have any insight into the result, but stop trying to be reasonable and put some money down already.

You can also wager on the length of the national anthem or the color of Gatorade poured over the winning coach during the postgame celebration. Or, if you think you have a little more football knowledge, dig deep into the prop bets that involve individual player's statistics for the game.

I went through all the prop bets for Sunday's Super Bowl LVI and came up with 10 that you should put your money on (Don't come looking for me if any of these are wrong) ...

Coin toss

Let's get you started with the fairest bet on the board: Heads or tails. The line at Bovada is even, which obviously makes sense. In Super Bowl history, tails has the advantage at 29-26, although it has come up heads in three of the past four Super Bowls. Still, we all know the rule: Tails Never Fails, so give me tails.

Length of National Anthem

The over/under for country music star Mickey Guyton's anthem performance is 1:40, which is insanely low since the past 16 Super Bowl anthems have averaged right at 2 minutes. However, Guyton was picked partly for her beautiful rendition at last year's National Memorial Day Concert and she got it done in 1:23. Even when she adds a little flair for the Super Bowl, I'm betting she still gets it down in less than 100 seconds, so let's go with under 1:40.

Jersey number of first touchdown scored

The over/under at BetUS for the jersey number with the first touchdown is 19.5, which gives you the quarterbacks and all the top receivers if you take the under. The Rams' best receivers, excluding tight end Tyler Higbee, all wear unusually low numbers: Cooper Kupp (10), Odell Beckham (3) and Van Jefferson (12). On the Bengals side, you have star receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who wears No. 1. Give me the under 19.5, and let's hope that first touchdown is a pass to a big-time receiver.

How many players will have a passing attempt?

The over/under is 2.5, so if you take the over, you're basically willing to bet that one of the teams will run a trick play or a quarterback will get injured. At +130, I'm willing to take over 2.5. The under isn't nearly as tasty at -160. Be warned, that in the past three Super Bowls, only the two starting quarterbacks have attempted passes. But in the Eagles-Patriots Super Bowl, there were four passers. The Rams have run two trick plays during the season with punter Johnny Hekker and receiver Cooper Kupp both attempting a pass. The Bengals also let receiver Tyler Boyd throw a pass this season.

Who performs first during halftime?

The Super Bowl halftime lineup is insane this year, featuring Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Mary J. Blige. I would guess they're saving a big pop from the crowd when Snoop Dogg and Eminem hit the stage, so they're out as first performer. It makes sense that the halftime show would start slow with a build towards the end, so give me Mary J. Blige, who BetUS has as the favorite at +175 to perform first.

How many times will the chains be used for a measurement?

BetUS has the over/under set at 1.5, and the odds are even for both. I have no statistics to back this up, but it sure seems like there are plenty of games with at least two measurements for a first down. Obviously, since the odds are even on both sides of the 1.5 measurements, it's not that easy, but give me the over and let's put those chain guys to work.

Odell Beckham receiving yards

The over/under on Beckham's receiving yards is 64.5 at BetUS. The former Giants and Browns receiver had 113 yards in the NFC Championship Game and 69 yards in the playoff win at Tampa Bay. This is his first Super Bowl and his time to shine, so I'm all in on Beckham going over 64.5 yards.

Joe Burrow touchdowns

The over/under on touchdowns thrown by the Bengals quarterback is 1.5 at BetUS. Burrow threw two touchdowns in each of the playoff wins against Kansas City and Las Vegas, but was shut out in the victory at Tennessee. The Titans' pass rush was in Burrow's face all game, and the Rams have an even better pass rush. That said, I'll take Burrow in an big game and say he throws at least two touchdown passes.

What will be greater: Shortest touchdown or rounds in the Derrick Lewis-Tai Tuivasa fight at UFC 271

This is a fun tie-in to Saturday night's UFC 271 at Houston's Toyota Center. Lewis, the Houston knockout king, and Tuivasa are going to slug it out and it likely could finish in a first-round knockout, but the shortest touchdown in four of the past five Super Bowls has been from one yard out. It makes sense that the odds on this at Bovada are even. I'm banking on another one-yard touchdown, so give me the rounds in Lewis-Tuivasa being greater and let's hope the fighters start a little slower than usual.

Bengals +4

This isn't weird at all. Pretty straightforward: The Bengals are four-point underdogs against the Rams. The Bengals' Cinderella story could burst this weekend, but I think that Joe Burrow at least keeps it really close. Give me the Bengals and those free four points.
